Banane caramelizate cu inghetata de vanilie

Reteta asta am preluat-o de la Gordon Ramsey (pe care il ador pur si simplu pentru modul nonsalant in care vorbeste si se poarta cu toti, un fel de je m'en fische" foarte molipsitor)A prezentat-o intr-o noua emisiune de-a sa, Cookalong Live. Simplu si gustos!

Se folosesc:
2 banane
1 cana de zahar
rom
cognac
inghetata de vanilie

Zaharul se caramelizeaza intr-o tigaie, pana prinde o culoare maro inchis. Trebuie avut grija sa nu se arda.

Bananele se taie, in bucati nu prea mici, pentru ca isi vor reduce volumul cand sunt caramelizate, si se adauga la caramel. Se tin pe foc in jur de 2-3 minute, amestecandu-se.

Se toarna cognacul si se flambeaza. Romul se adauga in tigaie, peste caramel si banane si se amesteca bine.

Tot maglavaisul l-am turnat in pahare de martini si am adaugat ingehtata de vanilie deasupra.

Am mancat fooooarte repede, inainte ca inghetata sa se topeasca.

Mersi mult Ama:) Ideea lui Gordon.. chiar nu stiu daca au aparut si la noi emisiunile lui, dar tipul e chiar genial si merita urmarit :)

Mersi frumos pentru urari Diamond si Iulia! Vai atatea complimente :) Voi toate aveti niste bloguri extraordinare, ca sa mai.. le calaresc in fiecare zi sa vad cine ce a mai facut si m-as bucura foarte mult daca ma veti primi si pe mine in "familia" de blogarite culinarese :)

Buna! Am gasit reteta ta si as vrea sa le-o pregatesc invitatilor mei de maine seara. Cum nu sunt prea priceputa intr-ale bucatariei, am incercat-o intai sa vad ce imi iese. Numai ca zaharul ala s-a intarit in doua secunde dupa ce am pus compozitia in pahare si nu se poate manca. dai cu el de pereti de tare ce e. Trebuie sa adaug totusi ca azi nu am adaugat si alcoolul. Voiam sa te intreb: asa trebuie sa se intample sau maine cand o sa pun si putin coniac nu o sa se mai intareasca asa de tare? Multumesc frumos! Roxana

Nu as putea sa-ti spun cu exactitate. Zaharul nu ar trebui totusi sa se caramelizeze atat de rapid, cred ca ajuta atat alcoolul cat si bananele (ele lasa putin apa). Trebuie sa aibe o consistenta cremoasa/lipicioasa.

Sfatul meu ar fi sa le prepari chiar inainte de a le servi, caci nu dureaza mult, si astfel eviti sa se intareasca.
